Mr.Yogesh Agarwal, who is currently the Managing Director, National Banking at State Bank of India (SBI) is scheduled to succeed V.P.Shetty as Chairman of IDBI Bank. Mr.Shetty is due to retire on 30 June 2007.Mr.Agarwal took over as MD of SBI only in October 2006, after a stint at State Bank of Patiala as Managing Director. He began his career as probationary officer at SBI in 1972.
