No Criminals Campaign

Background:
A nationwide campaign against criminals in politics entitled `No Criminals’ http://www.facebook .com/group. php?gid=51461207 885 was launched in Delhi last month and has been running through the print and electronic media. Videos of the films are available on the Facebook page. http://www.facebook .com/reqs. php#/video/ video.php? v=72160255940& oid=51461207885http://www..facebook .com/home. php?#/video/ video.php? v=70453440940& oid=51461207885Several Mumbai NGOs support the campaign and were represented at it’s Delhi launch, since published figures indicate that Maharashtra State has the third highest number of criminals of all Indian States as elected representatives.
In Delhi this effort was led by the Public Interest Foundation. Dr.Bimal Jalan, Mr.Suresh Chandra and Mr.Naresh Chandra are trustees of the foundation. Others who supported it in Delhi by way of time, money and creation of the advertising film (by Lowe) are: Puneet Dalmia and R Gurumoorthy of Dalmia Cement, Ashish Dhawan of Chryscapital, Sanjeev Bikchandani of Naukri, Saurab Srivastava, Pramath Sinha and a host of other businessmen.
The 33-second ad film is currently being shown on Times Now and Zee TV. Other leading channels are also planning programmes to promote the idea. Cinemax and Adlabs have agreed to show it at all their cinema houses in Mumbai. This is just the beginning. We need your support and your ideas to carry this message forward in various ways.
