As per definition, the IPOs with grade 4 should do well in the exchanges on listing. However, out of the 16 IPOs with grade 4 that hit the market in the year 2010 only five IPOs are quoting above the offer price. Although grading is one thing and pricing is another matter, there is appears to be some thing terribly wrong with the BRLMs and the Issuers on pricing front.Small investors have suffered substantial loss, relying on the grading.
